Postage

Postage to all UK addresses is free. Prints are sold unmounted and are packaged in card-backed envelopes. Cards and prints are sent using Royal Mail, first class delivery. For packages needed urgently, or being sent abroad, please contact me directly before placing your order for postage options.

Orders will be processed within 5 days of receipt, although I do aim to dispatch as quickly as possible.

If you would like your print to be framed, I can arrange this for you – just get in touch for a quote before placing your order.

Environment

All cards are printed in the UK and cards and envelopes are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. The paper used is part of the Woodland Carbon carbon capture program, planting woodlands in the UK. Cards and envelopes are secured with an easy-peel plastic-free label.

Prints are made using either Caligo safewash ink by Cranfield, which is cleaned using water without the use of any toxins or chemicals, or using water-based non-toxic inks. Prints are placed in a recyclable cellophane wrapper for protection from dust and fingerprints.

I sometimes package parcels in pre-used cardboard, which I cut up and recycle for this purpose. In these cases, the parcel is wrapped in recycled and recyclable Kraft brown parcel paper.

Returns

I sincerely hope that customers will be happy with any cards or prints they receive. If you are unsure of exactly what you are ordering, then do ask me for additional photographs in advance of ordering. If, however, you are unhappy with a purchase, then I will offer a refund, provided the items are returned to me safely, and in their original condition, within 15 days of the order being placed.

Please be aware that the prints I sell here are all original prints. They are made by hand, usually without a printing press. The inks are mixed and applied by hand and pressure varies with each print. Therefore, even within a limited edition, each print will inevitably be slightly different. There may also be some chatter (small ink marks where the ink has caught the cut lino). All these variations are part of the charm of an original print and should be celebrated.

Thank you

Finally, I want to say thank you for supporting a small business. Everything, from the photography, to the editing, to the emailing, to the walking to the post office, to the printmaking itself, is done by me. I am a one-woman band, making a living from doing what I love, and trying to spread a little happiness through handmade, colourful prints. Every card I sell makes a difference, so thank you.
