Introduction to linocut printing, 1 x 2.5hr private workshop

This is a great introduction to linocut, for those who have never tried it before (or not since school!). I'll talk you through the basics of printmaking and choices of materials, paper, ink, etc, and will show you how to design and cut a simple block and how to successfully print it. The design is entirely up to you - feel free to bring in images for inspiration if you'd like.

You'll be able to choose ink colours and experiment with different kinds of paper, to gain an understanding of printmaking techniques to take forward and try out at home - I guarantee you'll catch the bug!
