Tyne Bridge

Probably the most iconic view in my home city of Newcastle upon Tyne. I've been wanting to make a print of the Tyne Bridge for so long! I spent a wonderful day on recce, walking around the Quayside and up and down the Chares, sneaking peeks of the bridge from all kinds of angles, taking dozens of photographs. It was so hard to decide on the right one. But let's face it, as pedestrians, we're used to looking up at the bridge, craning our necks as it looms above us, and avoiding kittiwake poo! I also love the colour. At the moment the bridge is undergoing much-needed repairs, and will be getting a new coat of paint too - I really hope they paint it the lovely green colour it should be.

This is a reduction linocut print, I used one block and printed 2 layers, in an extremely limited edition of just 8 prints.

They are sold unframed. The paper is beautiful heavy Fabriano, around 20x14" in size, and the print size is 40x30cm. In the photo I've framed one in a 24x16" frame.
Each print is named, numbered and signed by myself.

Delivery to all UK addresses is free. Prints are sold unmounted and are packaged in heavy cardboard tubes using Royal Mail, first class delivery. For packages needed urgently, or being sent abroad, please contact me directly before placing your order for postage options.
Orders will be processed within 5 days of receipt, although I do aim to dispatch as quickly as possible.
