Birds collection

Inspired by my Artist Residency at Gosforth Nature Reserve in April-June 2026, I have begun working on a series of single-block linocut prints of British birds. As a beginner birdwatcher, this project has been a whirlwind of learning for me, and with the help of my trusty Merlin app, I'm learning to recognise birds and their song, and to understand a little bit about their nature and habits.
These are all birds I have seen or heard (in the case of the bittern, which still eludes me!) at the reserve, and many of them are birds you will see regularly in your garden or local park. Each bird has been printed both in black and also in one other colour, which is taken from part of the bird's foliage. The collection is growing all the time, I have the next print in my mind already and I will be adding to this collection until the end of June.
As with all my prints, these are originals in limited editions - each one is named, numbered and signed.
