Reduction linocut printing, 1 x 3hr group workshop, 4-6 people

If you’ve done a bit of lino printing before and fancy taking things a step further, then this class is for you. I’ll take you through the process of designing, cutting and printing a 3 layer, 3 colour reduction print. I'll also give you tips on tools, ink and paper and talk you through inking, registration and printing, so that you can make the most of your time and have enough skills to take away with you and try at home.

The subject is up to you - it's always nicer if the subject means something to you personally, so feel free to bring along photographs if you'd like. The print can be of anything - a favourite place, a portrait or family pet, an object or something more abstract, it's entirely up to you. I'm happy to discuss this with you before you come, and find sources/imagery for you if that would help.

Group workshops are for 4-6 people. If you are booking this workshop as a single individual, please bear in mind that I will subsequently advertise the workshop in order to find more participants. Please be aware that other people will be joining you in this group workshop (up to 6 people maximum), and that I will need a minimum of 4 people to run it. If you are booking this workshop as a group, please buy up to 6 tickets and mark in the note box that you are attending together. The ticket price listed is for one participant.

Date and time to be arranged after booking. When booking workshops with no prearranged date, please let me know in the notes box which dates and times you would prefer. I’ll then be in touch to finalise the details. I reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a workshop if there are not enough tickets sold. If a workshop is cancelled by me, I will attempt to reschedule and attract more participants. If this is not possible, I will refund your ticket in full. Tickets sold for group workshops can not be refunded if the participant has agreed a time and can no longer attend.
