Burnt Acres

This is a multi block lino print of the beautiful countryside near Hawes in Wensleydale, in the Yorkshire Dales national park. I visited the area in summer 2022, staying in a cottage in Swaledale, and drove over the top one early evening to watch a sheepdog demonstration just outside Hawes. The dogs were incredible, but I was so distracted by the view, and immediately knew that I wanted to make a print of what I saw, with the trees in the foreground and the hills receding into the distance.

I cut 3 blocks for this print and printed them in different colours on top of each other. The prints sold here are all originals, each one is named, numbered and signed, in a limited edition of 14 prints. The print size is 8x6".

As they are each made by hand, there will inevitably be slight variations from print to print.
The prints are printed on beautifully smooth acid-free Kent 190 gsm A4 paper and are sold unmounted. For the photographs, I have used a 16x12” frame.

Delivery to all UK addresses is free. Prints are sold unmounted and are packaged in card-backed envelopes. Cards and prints are sent using Royal Mail, first class delivery. For packages needed urgently, or being sent abroad, please contact me directly before placing your order for postage options.
Orders will be processed within 5 days of receipt, although I do aim to dispatch as quickly as possible.
