Reduction linocut printing, 1 x 3hr group workshop, 4-6 people

If you’ve done a bit of lino printing before and fancy taking things a step further, then this class is for you (and your friends!). I’ll take you through the process of designing, cutting and printing a reduction print with 2 or 3 colours. I'll also give you tips on tools, ink and paper and talk you through inking, registration and printing, so that you can make the most of your time and have enough skills to take away with you and try at home.

The subject is up to you - it's always nicer if the subject means something to you personally, so feel free to bring along photographs if you'd like. The print can be of anything - a favourite place, a portrait or family pet, an object or something more abstract, it's entirely up to you. I'm happy to discuss this with you before you come, and find sources/imagery for you if that would help.

Group workshops are for 4-6 people. The price is a fixed price for the group, no matter how many people attend. When booking please ensure you have at least 4 people who can attend, and let me know in the notes box the names of the attendees.

Date and time to be arranged after booking. When booking workshops with no prearranged date, please let me know in the notes box which dates and times you would prefer. I’ll then be in touch to finalise the details. If a workshop is cancelled by me, I will attempt to reschedule. If this is not possible, I will refund your ticket in full. Tickets for group workshops can not be refunded if the participants have agreed a time and can no longer attend.
