Greymare

In February 2023 I spent a wonderful day on the Northumberland coast walking from Craster to Embleton, stopping at Dunstanburgh castle to make some sketches. For a long time, I've been wanting to make another print of this part of the coast. The view I settled on in the end is not the usual one - in fact the only part of the castle really visible from here is Lilburn Tower. I was sitting on the rocks just behind Greymare Rock (hence the print's title), looking at the smooth round rocks on the beach, the cliffs of Gull Crag and the clouds racing past above, behind the silhouetted watch tower. The contrast of shapes and low angle view really appealed, and the final print, to me, is really evocative of family walks along this stretch of coastline.

The prints sold here are all originals, each one is named, numbered and signed, in a limited edition of 13 prints. The print size is 8x6".

As they are each made by hand, there will inevitably be slight variations from print to print.
The prints are printed on beautifully smooth acid-free Kent 190 gsm A4 paper and are sold unmounted. For the photographs, I have used a 16x12” frame.

Delivery to all UK addresses is free. Prints are sold unmounted and are packaged in card-backed envelopes. Cards and prints are sent using Royal Mail, first class delivery. For packages needed urgently, or being sent abroad, please contact me directly before placing your order for postage options.
Orders will be processed within 5 days of receipt, although I do aim to dispatch as quickly as possible.
