I am building up a collection of tiny prints celebrating the cycle of life and natural forms. These prints are inspired by my collection of treasures I've picked up when out and about walking in nature, whether in a forest, on a beach or in the hills. Each design will be made in a small run of just 10 prints.

Sycamore seed - I decided to make this the first print in this series as a symbol of hope and renewal after the illegal felling of the Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland. The tree will hopefully regrow and other new trees can be grown from its seeds. Nature has a wonderful way of rejuvenating itself and each little seed is full of potential life.

Autumn oak leaf - I collected this oak leaf from the Derwent Valley during the winter months, where it had lain amongst thousands for a few weeks. I love its crumpled imperfection.

Larch cones - three little larch cones clinging to a twig, collected from a Northumberland forest to add to my Christmas wreath, but in the end saved for my studio collection!

Fritillary - one of my favourite spring flowers, a snake's head fritillary. I've planted these in my front garden and am hoping they'll seed and spread, I love the checkerboard pattern on their petals.

Leaf bud - a little bud on a shrub in my garden, which burst open just a few days after I photographed it. Life ready to pounce.

Dandelion flower - a yellow dandelion flower while it's still closed.

Cherry blossom - gorgeous pink, blowsy blossom petals, a sign of spring.

Limpet - a limpet shell, picked up on a Northumberland beach.

Grouse feather - a little feather collected from the moors of Northumberland, where the grouse like to burst from the heather as we approach.

Variegated ivy leaf - one fresh leaf in springtime.

Druridge shell - a large clam shell found in Druridge Bay, Northumberland.

Dune shell - a garden snail shell found in the dunes at Alnmouth, Northumberland.

There are many more prints in the pipeline, I'll add them to the shop as and when they are finished.

The prints are all original, limited edition, reduction linocut prints. They are printed on Kent paper at approximately 15x15cm and the print area covers a maximum of 9x9cm. They are each named, numbered and signed. They are sold unmounted (the framed versions in the images are to show an example of what they could look like when framed. If you'd like to buy a framed mini print, just get in touch to arrange a bespoke order.)
